Configuration: data label formatting is on "right" side.
In GanttResources chart type, data label for task bars shows overlapping the bar (the middle of the label is placed on the end of the bar) while the data label for milestones shows normally.
In Gantt chart types, that's the opposite: the milestone label disappear (unless an individual configuration per milestone is set but that introduces additional task lines) while the data label is correctly placed at the end.
Unless mistaken, this logic should be corrected.
Or am I missing something?
