Sort axis by actual start date
I need to sort tasks by start date. On your intro video I see that its achieved easily, by using sort by axis: start date. However, I do not have this option on my visual, whereby sort axis on my visual only allows for sort by task name of my hierarchy.

Hello,
After a recent power BI update, sorting the visual based on dates has been removed but I do have an workaround to achieve this. Please follow the below steps.
- Sort the columns in the Excel based on your start date and add a S.No column to the table.
- Open PBI and add the S.No column in the Display Measures field in the visual and now try sorting the Visual based on the S.No.
- Hide the Display measures row by turning off the Display Measures toggle under the formatting tab
